Girl’s Night Out Idea – Host Your Own Eyeshadow Party
Your friends are bringing the supplies; you’re just going to set them up to feel pampered.
This does not mean you’re going to spend a lot of money on decorations. You’re going to spend maybe $7 per person, unless you want to give them the little item I’m suggesting in this video.
I’m giving you an invitation to make them feel special and to help them look forward to the evening. Free printable!
I’m giving you a list of 5-7 items for each person’s area that you can spend money on.
Seriously, just being together with no to-do list is a fantastic evening to this girl right here.
But, this idea popped into my head so I’m sharing it with you. The above video explains and pumps you up so please take a looksy!
Invite no more than 5 other girls to your house for an Eyeshadow Application Party. Side note: you want a house with good overhead lighting since you’ll be applying eyeshadow. This would be awesome during the brunch hours b/c of the natural daylight.
Everyone brings her own brushes (all different kinds) and eyeshadows, even the ones she thinks are bad colors.
Your gal pals also need to come with no eye makeup on.
SETTLE THEIR JITTERS:
You are in charge of assuring the women that they will not be judged if they make mistakes, that the protection masks that we women put on to protect our insecurities are down; that they just need to come as they are.
You are helping everyone at the table be on the same playing field. We’re all women with insecurities; but red and yellow black and white, we are precious in his sight. We are just experimenting and getting creative.
One idea is to say in the invitation that everyone has to wear yoga pants.
You are going to make your guests feel like queens for the day!
I used long note pads, a cute pen, mirrors that my former Mary Kay friend had for us to borrow, and a makeup baggie
In each MakeUp Baggie, I gifted them two different eyeshadow brushes-the two most important brushes: Eyeshadow Brush and a Blending Brush. If you can afford one more brush, I recommend a Crease Brush since you’re using five colors in the video above. Please watch the video; it’s a gorgeous arrangement of colors!
Hair Band to keep the hair out of their eyes if needed
3 Cheapy Cheap Eyeshadow Brushes – this way they can use a clean brush to experiment with someone else’s eyeshadow color
If you have the money, you could buy each one the cutest trinket around these days…this Blushing Lady MakeUp Brush Cup
If you don’t have the money, maybe you could decorate a white styrofoam cup just like her! My above video shows you the styrofoam version; she’s adorable!
